The Little Gucci Dress
Awhile back my friend Brianna spent a semester in LA and we had a delightful time (and even got a few portraits in). We were reunited over Christmas and got together to take a few more photos. I haven’t really been shooting lately but definitely want to start back up, and our day was exactly what I needed: spontaneous, and very little equipment involved. I think I like things better when they’re spontaneous,
Brianna had plans to paint her long-pink childhood bedroom a more subdued color, so we decided a few photos would be the perfect thing to immortalize the walls. The bright pink paired with some of the outfits we used made the photos look like freakin’ Spice World outakes! I kind of love it. Overall, nothing too serious – just a fun, pink, and inadvertently-90′s day. Girls will be girls!
(I shot these on film, sorry the scans aren’t the best. Pretend the grain makes them more 90′s! Hopefully my yet-to-arrive new Lomography Smartphone Film Scanner will fix that!)
